Brought to you by the Bellevue Botanical Garden Society, the enormously popular Garden d’Lights festival features over a half million lights which transform the Bellevue Botanical Garden into a blossoming winter wonderland. Every December over 150,000 people enjoy this dazzling display.

 

NEW this year - Free admission nights compliments of KeyBank! Nov. 28, 29, 30 and Dec. 5, 6, 7, 12, 13 and 14. Free admission nights are on a first come, first served basis as space is available and do not require tickets.

Garden d’Lights has become a holiday tradition for many families and groups around the Northwest. Here’s how you can help make this much loved event safer and more pleasant for everyone, every evening of the show:

 

Plan ahead - The show runs November 26-December 31 and is open from 5-10 p.m. every evening (last entry at 9:30 p.m.)

 

Be informed - Visit the event website, gardendlights.org, to:

Inspired by plants found in Northwest gardens, hundreds of volunteers bundle strings of commercial-grade outdoor lights into three dimensional flowers, shrubs, vines, and critters. In November, these creations are 'planted' in the Botanical Garden and, with a flip of a switch, this unique holiday garden blooms every evening.

Hundreds of volunteers design and make new flowers for the display every year so it continues to grow. In addition to artistic interpretations of plants, the volunteer team has created several charming animal characters. Charlotte the spider remains a favorite and will be back in her web near the Ground Cover Garden.

During Garden d' Lights, holiday hours for The Trillium, the gift shop at the garden, will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. In addition, The Trillium will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for daylight shoppers. The shop is brimming with gift items, holiday ornaments and decor—a spectacular shop to match the spectacular garden setting.
